Directions
Getting to the church is pretty easy. The following are directions
from various points around the Washington, D.C. area.
From Points North of Washington
D.C., i.e. Frederick, MD or Southern Pennsylvania:
I-70 East, I-270 South; take exit 53 towards Washington, I-270
South becomes Capital Beltway (I-495 East); Exit at Maryland Route
5 South via exit 7A towards Waldorf (12.35 miles). Just before
Waldorf Route 5 and Route 301 merge. Follow signs for Route
301 South, NOT Route 5. When in Waldorf—you will pass
through the intersection of Routes 5, 228, and 301 where there
is a Checker’s Restaurant and Circuit City Store. Continue
straight on Route 301 South. From this intersection to the
Church is another 4.6 miles. The church is on the right hand
side of the highway. Look for our large South Potomac Church
sign and marquee.
From Points South of Washington D.C., i.e. Northern North
Carolina or Southern Virginia:
Route #1: I-95 North towards Richmond , then I-95 North
towards Washington, Capital Beltway (I-495 East); Exit at Maryland
Route 5 South via exit 7A towards Waldorf (12.35 miles). Just
before Waldorf Route 5 and Route 301 merge. Follow signs
for Route 301 South, NOT Route 5. When in Waldorf—you
will pass through the intersection of Routes 5, 228, and 301
where there is a Checker’s Restaurant and Circuit City
Store. Continue
straight on Route 301 South. From this intersection to
the Church is another 4.6 miles. The church is on the right
hand side of the highway. Look for our large South Potomac
Church sign and marquee.
Route #2: I-95 North towards Washington, merge onto I-301
North; after passing through the City of La Plata, South Potomac
Church is another 5 miles; we are between the 18th and 19th mile
marker signs; approximately at the 18.5 mile mark. The church
is on the left hand side of the highway. Look for our large
South Potomac Church sign and marquee.
From Points East of Washington D.C., i.e. Ocean City
, Maryland:
I-50 West, I-301 South towards Waldorf. Just before Waldorf
Route 5 and Route 301 merge. Follow signs for Route 301 South,
NOT Route 5. When in Waldorf—you will pass through
the intersection of Routes 5, 228, and 301 where there is a Checker’s
Restaurant and Circuit City Store. Continue straight on Route
301 South. From this intersection to the Church is another
4.6 miles. The church is on the right hand side of the highway. Look
for our large South Potomac Church sign and marquee.
From Points West of Washington D.C., i.e. Fort Royal, Virginia:
I-66 East, Capital Beltway (I-495 South); via exit number 64A
toward Richmond , Exit at Maryland Route 5 South via exit 7A
towards Waldorf
(12.35 miles). Just before Waldorf Route 5 and Route 301
merge. Follow signs for Route 301 South, NOT Route 5. When
in Waldorf—you will pass through the intersection of Routes
5, 228, and 301 where there is a Checker’s Restaurant and
Circuit City Store. Continue straight on Route 301 South. From
this intersection to the Church is another 4.6 miles. The
